Coach Edward Addie has a high energy coaching style and positive attitude towards kids. These qualities along with his tremendous knowledge of the game have helped make Coach Addie one of the most decorated youth basketball coaches in the country.
Coach Addie is recognized as a "teacher of the game." He has coached some of the most talented young men to ever come through the state of North Carolina.
During the 2007 Nationals, Addie led his AAU team to the National Final 4 and finished 3rd in the country. During a five year period, Addie has compiled an amazing record of 175-20 (.900 winning percentage), including 2 top 10 finishes at Nationals and an uprecedented 5 consecutive trips to the North Carolina AAU Final 4.
During 2008, Coach's Showcase teams finished 2nd at Big Shots, Myrtle Beach, Final 4 at The Main Event in Las Vegas, Elite 8 at The Kingwood Classic in Houston, TX and were champions at 2 different National Super Regionals.
In 2009, Coach Addie's summer squad at 8 players sign Division I scholarships.
