Hopewell basketball player Adrian Addie will sign with
Anderson (S.C.) University on Thursday.

Addie, a 6-foot-1 senior guard, averaged 8.2 points and
four assists per game. He's a four-year varsity player and
was part of teams that went 96-18. Addie started three of his four seasons.

Hopewell made two regional appearances during Addie's career. This season, Hopewell was 23-3 and lost
in the sectional championship.

"He was a big part of our team," coach Eric Davis said. "He's been a big part of our success and he's a
great kid doing things the right way. He made a lot of sacrifices. On a less talented team, his numbers
could've been a lot higher. He played both guard spots and made a lot of big shots in a lot of big games."

Addie, who has a 4.6 grade-point average, is the fifth Hopewell basketball player from this year's team to
sign with a college
